- Personal and household effects – can be imported duty free, if used for 1 year or more
- Clear inventory of shipment required
- Personal effects – new items subject to duty
- Firearms/weapons – strictly prohibited
- Domestic pets – health certificates, vaccination and quarantine required – further information should be obtained beforehand.
- Motor vehicles – not recommended, must meet emissions and safety regulations and subject to very high duty and tax.
- Alcohol – duty free as long as within personal allowance
