• Personal and household effects – can be imported duty free, if used  for 1 year or more
• Clear inventory of shipment required
• Personal effects – new items subject to duty
• Firearms/weapons – strictly prohibited
• Domestic pets – health certificates, vaccination and quarantine required – further information should be obtained beforehand.
• Motor vehicles – not recommended, must meet emissions and safety regulations and subject to very high duty and tax.
• Alcohol – duty free as long as within personal allowance
